For The Witcher on Netflix, our studio handled matchmove and roto animation on a crucial combat scene that starts in a cave and ends on a beach. It was essential to be extremely precise in re-aligning the 3D weapons, ensuring perfect integration with the characters’ movements.
We tracked the camera movements to seamlessly place 3D elements and performed roto anim to isolate and adjust certain elements, enhancing the immersion and fluidity of this action sequence. We worked with Light VFX on this project.
