For Albert Dupontel’s film Second Tour, our studio worked on a key sequence set in the offices of a newspaper. We were responsible for matchmoving and 3D set extensions, essential tasks to seamlessly integrate realistic visual elements into the filmed footage.

Matchmove was a crucial aspect of our work. Using advanced tracking tools, we recreated the camera movements to accurately place 3D elements into the filmed space. Each movement was carefully tracked to ensure perfect coherence between the live-action shots and the visual effects.

The 3D set extensions allowed us to expand the office space by adding visual elements like windows with scenic views or architectural details. We used software like 3DEqualizer and Maya to create these extensions while maintaining consistency with the lighting and shadows of the shoot. We worked with ADD Fiction on this project.
