For Just Dance 2023, Ubisoft entrusted us with creating a map for Justin Timberlake’s song Can’t Stop the Feeling. Our task was to design five distinct worlds where players teleport throughout the song, providing an immersive and dynamic experience.

The project began with a brainstorming session with Ubisoft to imagine diverse worlds, each with its own visual style and atmosphere. Every universe was crafted to reflect the song’s joyful energy while ensuring smooth, surprising transitions as the track progressed.

Each environment was carefully designed with specific animations, scenery, and colors for each section of the song. The visual variety of the worlds kept the player engaged, while staying true to the upbeat spirit of the song.

We used 3D modeling and animation techniques, collaborating closely with Ubisoft to ensure perfect integration into the game. The challenge was to create seamless transitions between these worlds while optimizing game performance.

This project with Ubisoft was an exciting experience, and we are proud to see Can’t Stop the Feeling as part of the classics in Just Dance 2023.
